Web Design FAQs
Q: What is considered to be a page of text?
A: One 8.5 X 11" sheet of paper single spaced with a 12 point font.
Q: How do we get content to you?
A: Our prices are based on content you provide through email (attached in Microsoft Word, WordPerfect or notepad). Please be sure you have edited your content for typos and complete sentences. If we must convert printed information into digital format, there will be a fee assessed.
Q: Do you provide content?
A: Yes. We have an in-house copywriter who can write for your website. Content is charged at $.20 a word.
Q: Do you take a deposit?
A: Yes. A deposit is required before any work will commence. The website must be paid in full before it is uploaded to your web host.
Q: How do I obtain a domain?
A: You can purchase a domain through several online companies. If Kanyon Graphics purchases a domain in your behalf, the rights stay with Kanyon Graphics and you lease the domain from us.
Q: If I obtain hosting through you, when is my bill due?
A: You can choose a one or two year hosting plan. Payment is due at the beginning of hosting and then again on the first day of the next year. For example, if you begin hosting in March, the hosting will come due the first of March of the following year. If the amount is not paid by the first, late fees will be assessed. Please call to set up a payment plan before site suspension.
Q: How many times can I change the design?
A: You have 2 redesigns available for your website based on your recommendations. If you want more, there are extras fees.
Q: Do you do Flash websites?
A: We focus on SEO. After all, why have a website if no one can find it? We incorporate Flash elements into our pages, but we choose to leave full Flash websites to people who are not concerned with being found on the Internet.
